Your new company
A prestigious global law firm is seeking to recruit a tax accountant specialising in transfer pricing to join their transfer pricing team at their office in Manchester on a hybrid, full-time basis. This international organisation provides a complete service to clients in its core sectors of insurance, transport, energy, infrastructure, and trade & commodities. This well-established, highly respected organisation is looking for someone experienced in tax and transfer pricing to support their dynamic team.

Your new role
As a tax accountant in the transfer pricing team, you will report to the transfer pricing manager. Your responsibilities will include preparing local files, developing quarterly NCC forecasts, completing intercompany loan compliance, and collaborating on the group CbC report. Extra accountabilities plus other factors explained more in detail are shared below.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and manage local files for regions including MEA, APAC, Europe, North America, and LATAM.
  • Develop quarterly NCC forecasts, budgets, and year-end calculations with detailed variance analysis and FX reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure precise budgeting and posting of global expenses.
  • Collaborate on the Group CbC report, ensuring accurate data submission across various regions.
  • Maintain compliance calendars for MEA, APAC, Europe, North America, and LATAM.
  • Complete intercompany loan compliance, including CT61 return filings.
  • Engage with advisors to ensure alignment with transfer pricing strategies.
  • Assist in tax audits and address queries from tax authorities.
  • Stay updated on global transfer pricing laws and ensure adherence to new regulations.
  • Support transfer pricing strategy and provide business advice.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in transfer pricing.
  • Over 5 years' experience in accounting or international taxation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and tax law.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven ability to extract, analyse, and review data, and provide informed recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in transfer pricing.
  • Experience with accounting systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative.
