Surveyor/Senior Surveyor – Property Asset Management – Up to £50k + Car Allowance

An opportunity has arisen for a Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to join a leading Property Management team within a major Property Consultancy, covering the management of trophy assets in Manchester. This role would suit anyone who is looking to gain more Asset Management knowledge and exposure.

Job Role:

  1. Working as part of a leading Property Management team where you will be managing trophy assets in Manchester.
  2. Ensure tenant arrears are proactively managed as well as dealing with Tenant & Client Queries.
  3. Draft, review and approve service charge budgets.
  4. Service charge reconciliations.
  5. Carry out property inspections & liaise with the Building and facilities management team.
  6. Ensure accurate client reports are prepared to the correct specifications.
  7. Reading and summarising leases and ensuring accurate data is maintained on the property management systems.
  8. Advance reporting for critical lease event dates such as reviews, lease expiries and break options.
  9. Identify opportunities for providing additional services to clients.

Skills Required:

  1. MRICS Qualified is preferred but not essential.
  2. 2/3 years’ experience in all aspects of property management.
  3. Experience of working across commercial asset classes – Trophy Assets would be advantageous.
  4. Financial and commercial acumen with excellent planning, budgeting and operational reporting skills.
  5. Willingness to acquire knowledge of asset management.
  6. Good knowledge of building related health and safety.
