We’re seeking a dynamic, data-driven leader to shape the future of pricing and performance insight at Jensten Underwriting. Reporting to the Director of Underwriting, you will lead a team of pricing analysts to develop models, tools, and insights that support sustainable profitability and commercial growth. Your role involves enhancing pricing decisions, underwriting performance, and trading outcomes through analytical expertise, commercial acumen, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain pricing models for rate reviews, elasticity analysis, and loss ratio forecasting.
• Develop performance management frameworks to monitor market and product changes.
• Create tools and dashboards for proactive underwriting insights.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams for data structuring.
• Work with external actuarial providers to optimize their insights.
• Provide management information and forecasts for strategic decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, fostering analytical excellence.
• Integrate pricing best practices into product development and underwriting processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in insurance pricing or performance insight, especially within MGA or underwriting settings.
• Technical expertise in pricing methodologies (GLMs, elasticity models) and relevant tools.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly.
• Experience leading and developing analysts.
• Ability to work strategically and hands-on.
• Strong understanding of underwriting profitability and market dynamics.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or similar.
