Oligometastatic SABR MDM Coordinator/Tracker

We have an exciting opportunity for a positive individual, with a key eye for detail, to join the NHS Lothian Cancer Information Team (CIT) to support the national Oligometastatic Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR) service. The main objectives of the role are to support weekly clinical multidisciplinary discussion meetings (MDM), and to maintain a core dataset about treatments delivered by service.
Working as part of a national multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for creating and distributing the MDM discussion lists, adding patients to Trak (electronic patient record), capturing and circulating outcomes for clinical review, and updating treatment details on the national Oligometastatic SABR database.
This post requires a dynamic individual with an aptitude for understanding medical terminology and data. You will need to collaborate with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to understand treatment information from a clinical perspective and for data entry purposes, effective and confident communication skills are essential, along with initiative and autonomy.
You should have a high standard of education, excellent administrative and computer skills. Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous.
