We are working closely alongside with Achieve Together to assist with the appointment of a Bank Care Assistant role to work in a residential care setting.

We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.

Rate of Pay: £12.21 - £14.52 per hour

Summary:

As a Bank Care Assistant at Achieve Together, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. This flexible role allows you to work shifts that suit your availability, providing cover when needed across various services. Youll support people in leading fulfilling lives, promoting independence and dignity at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support tailored to the needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Assist with daily living activities including personal care, mealtimes, medication, and mobility.
  • Uphold the rights, dignity, and confidentiality of the people you support at all times.
  • Follow care plans, risk assessments, and health and safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure a safe, supportive environment for all service users.

Qualifications:

  • Care Certificate or willingness to work towards one is preferred.
  • Completion of mandatory training (e.g., safeguarding, moving and handling, infection control) or willingness to complete.
  • Ideal for candidates with experience in health and social care, domiciliary care, or residential care.
  • Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable
  • A caring, empathetic, and proactive attitude is more important than prior experience.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
