Job Description:

Assistant Project Manager in London, United Kingdom (Hybrid). At Telent, we empower our people to lead projects that keep the UK’s infrastructure connected and protected 24/7. Supporting the delivery of Minor Works projects for Transport for London, including CCTV, PA/VA, and Speaker Systems, this role offers hybrid working with two days in our Canning Town office.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Support the end-to-end delivery of TfL Minor Works projects.
  2. Prepare cost estimates and quotes for new opportunities.
  3. Assist with project mobilisation and milestone tracking.
  4. Monitor project finances and performance.
  5. Coordinate project teams and subcontractors.
  6. Ensure compliance with QEHS standards.
  7. Prepare inputs for contract reviews.
Who You Are:

Proactive, organized, with experience in project coordination or management, preferably in infrastructure sectors. Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Key Requirements:
  1. Experience in Rail, Telecoms, Construction, or Utilities projects.
  2. Commercial and financial acumen.
  3. Knowledge of QEHS standards.
  4. Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  5. Clear communication skills, written and verbal.
  6. Experience with TfL or London Underground projects is desirable.
  7. Working towards APM/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
