• This is a hybrid role; applicants must live near the hospital as sessions are face-to-face and virtual.

Role Description:

We are seeking a sessional Psychologist to provide psychological therapy to outpatients at our private services. The role involves both face-to-face and remote sessions at Bristol Hospital and Park Clinic, rated as “good” by the Care Quality Commission.

Hospital Details:

Bristol Hospital (Stapleton, M32): Located in extensive grounds near M32, offering 77 beds across various services, including PICU, eating disorders, and more. Accessible by car, bus, and train.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention.
• Offer advice and guidance to other professionals.
• Manage assessment, treatment, and discharge autonomously.
• Administer psychometric tests and evidence-based assessments.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage risks.

Person Specification:

• HCPC registration.
• Experience in outpatient mental health services.
• Additional training in DBT or other psychotherapies is a plus.
