Project Engineer – Mechanically Biased – Lancashire

Project Engineer – Mechanically Biased – East Lancashire – £40-45k + overtime or TOIL (when working on site) + 25 days holiday + bonus

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a specialist Lancashire based engineering company. The company designs and builds specialist equipment used in manufacturing environments and is looking for a mechanically biased/qualified Project Engineer to join the team.

Key aspects of the Project Engineer role include:

  1. Run / own a range of projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately
  2. Produce project plans providing weekly updates to the Senior Management Team
  3. A Project Engineer, who is solutions driven and proactive in their approach as well as being someone who thrives solving complex engineering problems will be well suited
  4. Company is a growing SME, a Project Engineer used to working for a smaller size business could be well suited
  5. Liaise with customers and attend customer sites when needed
  6. Attend FATs
  7. Flexible working hours (could start as late as 10am and finish later), office based role
  8. 25 days holiday
  9. Eligible for company performance-based bonus
  10. If you’re working away on customer site and work extended hours, you can choose to be paid in overtime or take time off in lieu
  11. Ideally Degree or HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering related subject

The company has an immediate need and is looking to start interviews straight away. Projects are rarely the same so this position will suit an individual who is flexible and looking to work across a breadth of interesting projects.

The client is based in East Lancashire and is easily commutable from Bury, Rochdale, Heywood, Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington, Darwen and Bolton.
