As the Model Based Systems Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company that is constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:

1. Developing model representations of systems and platforms
2. Collaborating with a community of engineers to understand the relationships between interfacing systems/platforms
3. Developing strategies to use modelling to optimise verification, validation, demonstrations, and trial activities
4. Undertaking model verification activities using real-world data
5. Identifying solutions and options that deliver at a platform level
6. Guiding and influencing a diverse and highly skilled community of specialist engineers and team leaders

Your skillset may include:

1. Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with equivalent experience
2. Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering experience
3. Knowledge of aircraft and their systems operation and key performance parameters
4. Ability to analyse system and aircraft performance
5. Experience with logical and mathematical-based engineering tools (e.g., SysML, Matlab/Simulink, Cameo System Modeller)
6. Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles and toolsets
