A high-quality print and design company is looking for someone to become fully trained in all aspects of their digital colouration department. You will develop an understanding of profiles and machine operations that affect colour or design quality, and learn to run a full shift effectively while ensuring products are matched for shade and production plans are met within quality and efficiency targets.

The role aims to maintain high standards of colour matching to customer preferences while ensuring efficient operation to meet targets on quality, output, and behaviour. Effective communication and understanding of the digital process are essential.

Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate with design on the running and allocation of initials.
  2. Follow all SOPs within the area.
  3. Maintain standards and targets for the digital area.
  4. Carry out sample work when requested.
  5. Manage daily shift operations (6-2, 2-10, 10-6).
  6. Maintain good housekeeping standards.
  7. Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
  8. Alter colour in CAD & BULK situations competently.
  9. Create and maintain standards throughout the department.
  10. Understand other processes in the digital area.
  11. Communicate effectively with area supervisors and operatives.
  12. Prioritize orders as needed.
  13. Communicate with customer services when required.
  14. Follow planned structures and maintain data using spreadsheets.
  15. Support the digital team as needed.
  16. Train others in the colouration area.
What we are looking for:
  • Computer literacy with CAD/Photoshop experience.
  • Knowledge of software systems.
  • Organizational skills and time management.
