The Adult Education Service is part of Coventry City Council. We provide a wide range of courses for Coventry residents aged 19+; much of our provision targets individuals with the highest levels of need.
Our offerings include long courses in English, maths, ESOL, ICT/Digital, vocational subjects like Early Years, and support for adults with learning disabilities.
We also offer a broad array of short community courses in arts, crafts, music, dance, exercise, fitness, and family learning. Additionally, we run a supportive study programme for young people.

Our main base is at Southfields Old School, CV1 5EJ, with provision at around 25 other sites across Coventry, primarily in high-need areas.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Digital Skills Tutor within Coventry's successful Adult Education Service. You will plan and deliver classes to adult learners across various locations in the city and online.
You will join a team of experienced tutors who are supportive and committed to professional development. We aim to excel in teaching, learning, and assessment.
This is a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2026.
This role is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; appointment is contingent upon a satisfactory DBS check.
We seek a skilled and enthusiastic Digital Skills Tutor with experience teaching adults or similar, up-to-date knowledge of Digital Functional Skills or other ICT qualifications, and relevant teaching qualifications at Level 3/4 and subject qualifications at Level 4/5.
