This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading provider of specialty insurance solutions. Our client is seeking a talented individual to design, develop, and maintain SQL databases that meet both application and business needs. You'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining their Data Warehouse solution using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases tailored to business requirements.
Support the development and maintenance of the existing Data Warehouse solution.
Troubleshoot and resolve database and system-related issues, providing support to users.
Assist with the deployment of changes to the Data Warehouse and other systems.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand and support project requirements.
Monitor regular processes, identify root cause issues, and escalate when necessary.
Develop and maintain reusable code following best practices for future use.
Proficient in T-SQL, including database schema design, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
Familiarity with Data Warehousing design techniques (Kimball/Star Schema).
Experience with Visual Studio or similar IDEs.
Experience with source control platforms such as Team Foundation Server, GIT, DevOps, or similar.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory and Power BI.
Exposure to the insurance industry.
General IT support knowledge.
