Qualifications

Overview

A Tier 1 global investment firm is seeking an experienced Investment Director to join its Private Credit team in Paris. The successful candidate will play a senior leadership role in originating, executing, and managing private credit investments across Europe, with a focus on direct lending, special situations, and structured credit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead origination and execution of complex credit transactions across Europe
• Oversee due diligence, structuring, and negotiation processes
• Drive investment committee discussions and lead decision-making processes
• Manage and monitor portfolio performance and value creation initiatives
• Represent the firm externally with borrowers, advisors, and stakeholders
• Mentor and develop junior professionals on the team

Candidate Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in private credit, direct lending, or special situations investing
• Demonstrated track record of sourcing and executing transactions
• Strong credit underwriting skills and investment judgment
• Experience from a top-tier credit platform or financial institution
• Fluent in English; French preferred
