Job Title: Apprentice Dental Nurse - Bangor Lodwig Villa

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays, 40 hours a week.

Role Overview

Our Dental Nurse Apprenticeship supports and provides you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours on your journey to becoming a GDC-registered qualified dental nurse. Responsibilities include:

1. Providing the best patient care from entry to exit.
2. Supporting dental professionals with chair-side assistance to deliver high-quality patient care.
3. Earn while you learn through the apprenticeship program.

Qualifications and Learning Outcomes

You will achieve a Level 3 qualification after an 18-24 month training program. Before your end-point assessment, you must have achieved Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs grades A* to C) or provide evidence of prior achievement.

You will learn about:

• Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems.
• Transmission and prevention of infectious diseases.
• Dental materials, equipment, and resources.
• Handling medical emergencies.
• Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Clinical skills and health promotion.
• Patient care and management.
