The Client

My client is a well-established, mid-sized accountancy practice based in Eastbourne, offering a range of audit, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities as the Semi Senior Accountant will include:

1. All areas of practice work for a range of personal tax and business clients.
2. Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients to deliver a high-quality service.
3. Preparing and reviewing sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, company accounts, and corporation tax returns.
4. VAT advice and compliance services.
5. Coaching, training, and developing junior staff to improve and further their knowledge.
6. Undertaking wider practice activities, as required.
7. Maintaining a professional working relationship with both clients and colleagues.

To be considered for the position of Semi Senior Accountant, you will require the following:

1. An AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification.
2. Experience of accounts preparation in an accountancy practice.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Problem solver with an investigative nature.
