Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who value their impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and station communication systems
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinating with Telent Service Centre

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and multitasking, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Familiarity with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
