Contract 6-12 Months (Inside IR35) £400 per day - Glasgow

Synechron is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong Workday or SAP SuccessFactors experience to work with the Payroll Tech Testing team, focusing on testing methods and processes for specific Payroll systems.

The Role:

The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with HR IT, Workday IT, Time Tracking, and ADP teams to identify and develop automated integrated solutions supporting Payroll processes.

Other Duties:

  • Adhere to SDLC methodologies for upgrades and compliance changes in Payroll and Time systems.
  • Provide technical guidance to Developers, following secure coding standards in Java and other automated applications used in MS.
  • Support integrations between various HR, Payroll, and Time applications globally.
  • Liaise with internal partners to implement, manage, and optimize testing processes; act as a key participant in meetings with external HR IT/Payroll IT vendors.
  • Manage and advise Payroll IT teams during annual tech updates in ADP GV and Workday integrated solutions.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with testing processes in ADP-Global View or SAP Payroll domains.
  • Good knowledge of Payroll functional processes to enhance test efficiency for system integrations across Cloud HR (Workday or SF), Time Tracking, and ERP payroll systems.
  • Good understanding of the Software Test Life Cycle, including Test Strategy.
