Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for leadership and clinical excellence? The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Cardiac ITU Unit, where you will provide clinical leadership and inspire our talented team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, offering specialised care for a diverse range of critical patients.

As our new Sister/Charge Nurse, you'll provide expert leadership in the daily operations of the Cardiac ITU department, ensuring high standards of care. We offer an exciting, supportive environment where you can advance your skills, take on new challenges, and have a direct impact on patient outcomes. With our emphasis on professional development and a wide range of opportunities for career progression, this role is perfect for a dedicated and passionate nurse looking to make a difference in a leading healthcare setting.

We have a dedicated education team offering a bespoke learning programme to help you progress in your career. You can undertake courses in Teaching and Mentorship, ILM, or focus on advancing your expertise in Critical Care or Leadership & Management.

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Extensive experience in ITU, with a solid understanding of Cardiac/General ITU
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and supporting a nursing team.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and the ability to nurture junior staff to reach their potential.
