Job description

A fantastic community pub with a strong regular trade. This newly developed, popular pub offers a great salary of A£65,000.

My client has a great role available in East London. This is a newly developed pub with a focus on food, featuring fresh food and table service. They are looking for a leader to develop the business and engage with local companies. Although the business is primarily wet-led, about 60/40, food quality and innovation are key to its success, working closely with the Head Chef.

The General Manager Role:

As General Manager, your main focus will be on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food and drink. Visibility is crucial; building relationships with customers encourages repeat business. All marketing and local PR are managed in-house, so a General Manager eager to engage with the community is essential.

The Ideal Candidate:

This role requires proven skills in business growth and a strong focus on people. Approachable, charismatic personalities who love the trade and are passionate about good food and drink tend to excel. Responsibilities include financial management, staff development and coaching, and implementing marketing initiatives.
