English, Maths and Science Tutor Opportunity – 1:1, Walsall

Prospero Teaching is looking for English, Maths and Science Tutors to deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to secondary-aged young people who are currently without a school placement.

The Opportunity

This English, Maths and Science Tutor role is ideal for someone seeking to work outside the traditional classroom setting and make a positive impact on disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. The successful tutor will create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education, enhancing engagement and attainment levels.

We are looking for English, Maths, and Science Tutors who are passionate about working with children and young people with diverse learning needs, adopting a creative, flexible, and holistic approach to significantly improve their educational prospects.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location – Within the community or pupils' homes in Walsall
• Position – English, Maths and Science Tutor
• Type of work – Contract
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration – Until the pupil reintegrates into a new school
• End date – Ongoing
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full-time/part-time – Part-time (15 hours per week per student)
• Minimum rate of pay – GBP 22+ per hour
• Hours – Flexible, depending on family schedules

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
