Job summary

A renowned precision engineering group in Tamworth is seeking a Quality Inspector for a permanent role with an immediate start. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with quality standards and utilize advanced measuring equipment in aerospace and automotive sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience of CMM programming and Gear Measuring Machine measuring, preferably in Mitutoyo.
• Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001:2015 & ISO17025:2017.

Responsibilities

• Working within AS9100, ISO9001 & ISO17025 standards.
• Programming and use of CMM (Mitutoyo software).
• Use of general measuring equipment including micrometers, surface testers, and contour tracers.

Quality Inspector Salary & Location

Salary – dependent on experience
Location – Tamworth

About the Role

We are working with a recognised and renowned precision engineering group of businesses in the Tamworth area that are looking for a Quality Inspector on a permanent contract with an immediate start.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities:

1. Working within the AS9100, ISO9001 & ISO17025 standards.
2. Programming and use of CMM (Mitutoyo software).
3. Able to interpret engineering drawings and inspect to those requirements.
4. Use of general measuring equipment including micrometers, surface testers, and contour tracers.
5. Working with First Article Reporting methods for aerospace and automotive.

Quality Inspector Requirements:

1. Experience of CMM programming and Gear Measuring Machine measuring, preferably in Mitutoyo.
2. Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001:2015 & ISO17025:2017.
3. Experience of working with Aerospace / Automotive OEMs.
4. Compiling of FAIR reports for customers.
