Project Engineer – Heavy Civil Construction

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily timecards, reports, equipment logs, and quantity tracking
• Ensure accuracy in labor distribution, cost code alignment, and variance analysis
• Own weekly and monthly reporting—site photos, quantities, budgets, schedules, and billing
• Coordinate with CDOT, subcontractors, and internal crews on work progress, issues, and payment
• Prepare and submit change order requests, RFIs, submittals, and inspection reports
• Track subcontractor performance, quantities, and ensure accurate subdraws and billing
• Serve as the communication bridge between field operations and project stakeholders
