Job description

Principal Resourcing are working alongside an academy in West Hull to recruit a Teacher of ICT and Computer Science. The academy are looking for an ICT Teacher on a full-time basis who is either able to start ASAP or in the new academic year.

The successful candidate will be working in an inclusive and ambitious academy in a department offering excellent support and facilities.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Confidence, inclusive, and passion for their subject

Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum

An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons to students across various age groups, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and communication.
  • Collaborate with special education staff to implement tailored strategies for students with unique challenges, including those with autism.
  • Provide mentorship and tutoring to enhance individual student performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, ensuring compliance with educational standards.
