“The role of an IT trainer in Cleveland Police is challenging but rewarding. There are many and varied IT systems to teach, with newer systems emerging most years. I enjoy teaching and supporting members of staff, whilst also constantly learning myself. It is a varied role, with no two weeks the same. The role includes liaising with other departments, other staff and other Police Forces. I could be teaching in class, teaching online, visiting other departments to find out their training needs, doing training myself to keep up to date with the latest developments, or creating courses.
