BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for their client in Stockton to join their growing finance team. This is a newly created role!

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and MI reports in an accurate manner to agreed timescales
  • Production of a set of working papers which agree to trial balance
  • Year-end reporting and preparation of annual financial statements
  • Undertake key financial analysis and appraisals
  • Bank and all other balance sheet reconciliations
  • Statutory reporting to regulatory bodies
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Provision of financial advice and support to clients and Directors alike
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining detailed cash flow forecasts
  • Occasional support with bookkeeping and analysis work

You will need:

  • Part Qualified to AAT level 4 or QBE
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator and able to present financial information to clients and management
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience using Xero and Sage would be preferable
