Job description

Our client is an established and growing law firm with a number of offices across the Southwest.

On our client’s behalf we are looking for a Corporate / Commercial Solicitor from NQ – 5 years post qualification experience.

The role offered provides a real opportunity for a fast track to promotion within the growing company and commercial team.

This is a full-time post. You must be able to work in one or more of the offices most of your week, although an element of hybrid working is available once you have passed your probation.

Involvement in the firm’s marketing and business development plan, and attending networking and social events, is an important part of the job.

The work comprises non-contentious corporate and commercial matters, acting for SMEs, partnerships and sole traders, in the following areas:

  • Business sales and purchases – acting for both sellers and buyers in relation to share transactions and asset transactions.
  • Advising on and drafting Shareholders Agreements
  • Drafting and amending Articles of Association
  • Incorporation of companies
  • Advising on Partnerships and LLPs including drafting or amending partnership agreements, especially farming partnership agreements
  • Advising on and drafting commercial contracts and standard terms and conditions
  • Advising on management buy out’s and company restructuring
  • Dealing with any venture capital, private equity investments and other forms of financing.
