Salary: £415-£450 per week (depending on experience/qualifications)

Working Days: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm

Connex Education are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable SEND teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil at a SEND School in Wirral. We are working closely with a fantastic SEND school who caters for pupils aged 2-11 with Autism.

This role will be working on a full time basis starting in June. This will be on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, but with a view for a direct contract in the new academic year. You will be working with a fantastic team of teachers and support staff, and will have access to a range of training through Connex Education.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Experience working of supporting children or young adults with Autism is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different abilities and needs.
  • It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
