Job description

Job Title: Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (minimum 8 hours per day)
Potential for Additional Work: Occasional weekend shifts available
Hourly Pay: £23.00 - £25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform a range of technical tasks, from routine servicing and repairs to more complex diagnostic work and major repairs.
  2. Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  3. Complete repairs to high standards, ensuring attention to detail and precision.
  4. Adapt to a wide variety of jobs, demonstrating flexibility and expertise in your role.
  5. Work efficiently in a busy dealership environment, meeting the high standards expected in a main dealership.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
  2. Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  3. MOT Licence: Preferred but not essential.
  4. Proven experience in an automotive workshop, with a strong background in diagnostics and vehicle repair.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
