Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

There are two posts available, one in Arran Resource Centre and one in Springpark Resource Centre.

The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic, reflective, and supportive Occupational Therapy team, with opportunities to develop skills working with adults in the community experiencing various mental health issues. The team collaborates closely with other professionals, emphasizing patient-focused services in assessment and treatment. Personal development opportunities include specific training and professional supervision. Applicants must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy, be HCPC registered, and have relevant experience.

Main duties include occupational therapy assessments and treatments for severe and enduring mental health conditions, along with team responsibilities such as desk duty and mental health assessments.
