About the Job: Accounts Assistant

We are a bespoke Accountancy practice located in North London and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our practice and providing excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee benefits
  • Communicate with clients regarding their financial records and provide support as needed
Qualifications
  • AAT Level 2 Min
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be in the UK to apply for this position
