Job Description:

A leading consultancy in the renewables and sustainability sector is seeking a Trading and Energy Risk Manager to oversee risk management strategies for trading activities in renewable energy and sustainability markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading risk, market analysis, and regulatory compliance within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management strategies for renewable energy and sustainability trading.

• Monitor and assess market risks, price volatility, and regulatory changes.

• Provide risk analysis and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in energy trading and sustainability.

• Collaborate with teams across the organization to integrate risk management practices.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the risk management function.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in trading risk management, preferably in energy or renewables.

• Strong knowledge of energy markets, risk modeling, and regulatory frameworks.

• Proficiency in risk management software and financial modeling tools.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
