Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs
Create individualised learning plans to address students' specific challenges and learning goals
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and academic performance
Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student learning
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a SEN setting
Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and interventions
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organisational skills to maintain accurate records of student progress
Additional Information
Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
Work primarily in a learner's home, care home, or local library
