Role Overview

Your role as the Deputy Chief Paramedic Officer will involve promoting clinical excellence across the organisation, working with multidisciplinary teams. You will ensure the continued development of the Paramedic profession in line with the College of Paramedics career framework and advanced practice agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work across the four pillars of professional practice.
  2. Develop workforce plans for the future.
  3. Lead service transformation as part of South East Coast Ambulance Service's five-year clinically led strategy.
  4. Embodies Trust values and influences positive change within the NHS context.
  5. Provide leadership and support to operational teams and senior colleagues on clinical practice and workforce planning.
  6. Represent the Trust externally, contributing to system-wide strategic planning and multidisciplinary clinical leadership.
