Job description

DDAT Technical Commercial Lead (Procurement) - Contract
Predominantly remote - travel to Manchester on occasion
GBP500 - GBP550 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract to 31st March 2026

The Morson Group are working with a public sector organisation who require support within their Business Operations team. This includes responsibility for managing digital and technology procurements, ranging from software and estate licensing, hardware purchases and maintenance, consultancy and professional services, and infrastructure and networking services.

In this key role, you will:

  • Lead and support complex DDAT tenders.
  • Draft and develop technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and tender documentation.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement processes, especially the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Frameworks. Commonly used frameworks include: Digital Outcomes, G-Cloud, Technical Products and Associated Services, Network Services.
  • Analyse and interpret complex information and present it clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Use knowledge of Crown Commercial Service Frameworks and Contracts, including contract schedules, to develop contracts for goods and services.


Additional Information:

  • Predominantly remote (travel once a month to MCR office.)
  • Interviews will be held on 16th May with a view to start 2nd June.
