Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Lead to provide hands-on IT support for a global agricultural business. This role will be based out of their Stamford office and nearby production facility, while also overseeing IT support activities across the EMEA region. This role is crucial in ensuring timely resolution of IT tickets and aligning IT support with business needs. You will be overseeing a small team of 4 and report into the Global Director of IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide local IT support for hardware, software, and networks.
  2. Manage IT tickets and oversee a small EMEA support team.
  3. Act as the main IT contact for business stakeholders.
  4. Maintain IT infrastructure and ensure security compliance.
  5. Collaborate with global IT teams to align processes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  1. Strong 1st & 2nd line IT support experience.
  2. Proven ability to manage IT support across multiple locations.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows/macOS, Active Directory, and networking.
  4. Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills:

  1. ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL service management principles.
  2. Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
  3. Exposure to cloud services like Azure.

This is a fully office-based role.
