Property: Marriott International’s Managed hotels in the Central London Cluster, including:

  • London Marriott Hotel County Hall
  • London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale

The Cluster Sales Manager is responsible for managing key accounts and generating new business within the cluster, focusing on Sports & Entertainment. The role involves driving sales across all segments, managing relationships with stakeholders, and supporting sales efforts at both cluster and property levels.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in the property/hospitality industry with a record of performance growth.
  • Multi-property experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Flexible working hours and location, with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Location: London.

Core Work Activities:

Sales and Marketing
  • Proactively maintain and grow existing accounts and generate new business, focusing on Sports & Entertainment.
  • Develop and implement account strategies.
  • Coordinate sales activities and follow-up.
  • Support closure of key enquiries with hotel and sales teams.
  • Maintain relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Develop contracts and manage customer solutions.
  • Coordinate with hotels for site inspections, FAM trips, and updates on account status.
  • Work with senior sales leaders on strategic direction and account productivity.
  • Lead ad hoc projects as requested.
  • Maintain accurate account data and reporting.
Revenue Management
  • Partner with Revenue Management to develop sales strategies for accounts and new segments.
  • Assist in pricing strategies and monitor market outlooks.
Management Competencies:
  • Leadership, Relationship Building, Managing Execution, Talent Development, Professional Expertise.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong sales skills and ability to close sales.
  • Relationship management and customer development skills.
  • Knowledge of group, catering, and transient business.

  • Ability to influence and develop relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
