An established industry player is looking for a dedicated part-time leisure attendant to join their team in Liverpool. This role requires a fully qualified NPLQ lifeguard who is vigilant and attentive to ensure customer safety while providing excellent service. Your responsibilities will include supervising the poolside, setting up equipment for activities, and maintaining the cleanliness of the leisure centre. Type – Permanent 21.92 Hour post – Fixed Shift pattern in place– including evenings and weekends (please review shift patterns below, we operate a summer rota April to September and winter rota pattern October to March. Suitable candidates must be available to work shift pattern below).
An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for a part-time leisure attendant, based at Bootle Leisure Centre to join the team. The post is for a fully qualified NPLQ lifeguard to work as part of a team, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care are always maintained. This role requires constant supervision of the poolside; you will need to be fully focused with the ability to remain vigilant, alert, and attentive. This position involves the setting up of equipment to meet the needs of the programmed activities and to undertake cleaning tasks to ensure the centre is well presented to the highest standard. The candidate will have a friendly and approachable manner to always maintain a high level of customer service. The candidate must be NPLQ qualified and must be able to demonstrate competency. Ongoing monthly training is also required.
Qualifications - It is essential you have a current Royal Lifesaving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. A first aid at work qualification, AED and pool plant operator’s certificate are also desirable.
Skills and Experience - The Leisure Attendant should ideally be able to demonstrate a level of experience and knowledge commensurate with the position.
