Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing business based in Bamber Bridge, for a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance function, ensuring accurate reconciliations, maintaining financial controls, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. Your responsibilities will include:

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Contactless payment solution reconciliations and management
Overseeing the revenue system importing to SAP
Reconciliation and control of specific income streams
Fixed asset system management
System master data management, liaising with the parent company (system owner)
Bank payment review and processing
Preparing wages journals and uploading to SAP
Month-end tasks and reporting to Group
Supporting the year-end audit
Other ad hoc duties as required

The Person

We are looking for a motivated individual with:

Experience in a similar accounting role
Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of SAP or similar financial systems (preferred but not essential)
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
