Job Title: E-Shot & Digisuite Developer

Location: Essex, CO5

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP30,000

Hybrid: Training based in Essex. Once a month in the Office when Fully trained.

Job Overview:

The purpose of this role is to be the lead developer in the building and testing of bespoke HTML email templates for our clients and supporting in React digisuite web app development. Applicants should have a focus on continuous innovation to implement product improvements, all while maintaining open channels of communication with colleagues and clients for sharing ideas and recommendations. Future progression also includes supporting the development team in building and testing of landing pages, microsites, and any other digital projects, as well as testing work produced by the Development team.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive continuous innovation and improvements across the platform/apps, with a focus on client value.

Carry out full-stack development, including responsive front-end work across various devices, browsers, and operating systems.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, supporting project delivery under the guidance of senior developers.

Commit to ongoing skill development through hands-on experience and self-learning, while maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and readiness.

Attend client site visits when required, delivering excellent service and representing the company professionally.

Work flexibly, including early starts, late finishes, or travel as needed for client meetings.

Keep admin systems updated, maintain organised records, submit daily timesheets via Synergist, and follow all company policies and procedures.

Support additional tasks aligned with your core responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in a development environment.

Experience of building bespoke HTML email templates for Microsoft Dynamics, Pardot, Mobas and Mailchimp would be preferable.

Solid grasp of the entire software development cycle

Profound understanding of React and its core principles

Prior experience in a Marketing Agency is highly desirable.

Proficiency in managing a diverse portfolio of accounts and engaging with various stakeholders.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) with practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, and a good understanding of JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Development Expertise: Advanced skills in JavaScript, React, CSS, Git version control, with experience using Firebase, Material UI V5, Typescript, and LLM integration (including embeddings databases).

Tools & Technologies: Familiar with MonoRepos, React-Framer-Motion, Linux, Figma, SSH, remote/cloud networking, APIs, GPT, Raspberry Pi, and other single-board computers.

Communication & Presentation: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with excellent grammar, writing, proofreading, and presentation abilities.

Organisation & Compliance: Skilled in planning and organisation, with working knowledge of GDPR and relevant data protection laws.
