E-Scooter Mechanic

At Job & Talent, we are recruiting for an E-Scooter Mechanic to work with a leading company in Newcastle, a major player in micromobility and provider of shared e-scooters.

Shift Patterns:

  • 5 days out of 7, 8 hours a day, various shift patterns

Pay Rates:

Earn up to £13.92/h

Requirements include:

  • Electrical engineering or mechanic background, ideally with electric vehicles
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs / 30 kg
  • Ability to operate a mobile device and use in-app workflows
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Provisional or full driving license
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
  • Willingness to learn, positive attitude, teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and operational compliance of electric vehicles
  • Perform repairs ranging from basic maintenance to electronic component replacements
  • Maintain safety and hygiene standards in the workshop
  • Maximize operational vehicles through efficient task completion
  • Identify issues and develop solutions
  • Additional tasks as assigned, with training provided
