E-Scooter Mechanic

E-Scooter Mechanic - Newcastle - Earn up to £13.92/h - Apply Now!

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for E-Scooter Mechanic to work with an important company in Newcastle - one of the leaders in micromobility and provider of share e-scooters

Shift Patterns:

  • 5 days out of 7 - 8h a day, various shift patterns

Pay Rates

  • £12.21-£13.92/h

As a E-Scooter Mechanic you will need to have:

  1. An electrical engineering or mechanic background, idealy with electric vehicles
  2. Tool handling experience
  3. Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
  4. Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows.
  5. Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
  6. At least provisional, ideally full driving licence
  7. Flexibility and availability to work various shift patterns including weekends
  8. Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success!

Role of a E-Scooter Mechanic:

  1. Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles
  2. Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
  3. Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the workshop
  4. Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
  5. Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
  6. Additional job related tasks as assigned
  7. Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
