An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Emergency Department team, delivering a friendly, confidential, efficient, and professional reception and registration service for patients, relatives, and visitors. The role involves managing a wide range of face-to-face and telephone enquiries from clinical staff, patients, relatives, GPs, and external agencies, providing accurate information and general advice as required. A broad range of administrative and clerical duties will be undertaken to support the smooth running of the department. As the reception service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you will be required to work flexible shifts, including unsociable hours, weekends, and public holidays. Staff may also be called upon to support the department during major incidents.
