Overview

Fuse Rail is seeking an experienced E&P Delivery Manager to join our team, based at our main office in Folkestone, Kent, working on projects across the South East.

Purpose of the Position

The E&P Delivery Manager will support the E&P Project Manager and production team by organizing and motivating the team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Direct the development of maintenance, construction, design, and project works to meet key business objectives.
  2. Ensure effective assurance processes to control risks and enable work to be completed in compliance with standards, performance, and business processes.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key senior customers, stakeholders, and suppliers within the Infrastructure Construction & Engineering (ICE) portfolio.
  4. Oversee the timely assignment and discharge of Construction Design Management (CDM) obligations for all projects.
  5. Lead by example in applying the Fuse Rail Management System and promote continuous improvement for clients and employees.
  6. Control and verify the quality of work undertaken and ensure assets are compliant with standards.
  7. Verify that staff and subcontractors possess the appropriate and valid competencies.
  8. Ensure vehicles, plant, tools, equipment, and materials are fit for use, properly stored, and disposed of correctly.
  9. Accurately report all work completed or not and maintain relevant records.
  10. Operate within the limits of delegated authorities as per company policy.
  11. Contribute to personal and team development.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, respecting confidentiality and GDPR regulations.
  13. Prioritize health and safety, using equipment properly and reporting any hazards or defects.
Experience
  1. Minimum 5 years in a similar role and industry.
  2. Experience with E&P, CRE/ETE preferred but not essential.
  3. Background in CRE or CEM.
  4. Motivated, enthusiastic, and organized.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Proven project management experience in safety-critical environments.
  7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels.
  8. Good knowledge of health and safety and compliance management, including investigations.
  9. Familiarity with relevant standards, procedures, and railway operational standards.
  10. IT literate.
  11. Excellent communication skills.
  12. Full UK driving license.
  13. Current Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
  14. Membership of a professional body.
