Job description

Fuse Rail is looking to recruit an experienced E&P Delivery Manager to join the team, working from our main office in Folkestone, Kent, on projects throughout the South East.

Purpose of the Position

The E&P Delivery Manager will support the E&P Project Manager and production team by organizing and motivating the team to ensure work is undertaken safely, efficiently, and to the relevant standards.

  1. Direct the development of maintenance, construction, design, and project works to meet key business objectives.
  2. Maintain effective assurance to control risks and enable maintenance, construction, design, and project work to be completed in compliance with standards, performance, and business processes.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key senior customers, stakeholders, and suppliers within the Infrastructure Construction & Engineering (ICE) portfolio.
  4. Oversee the timely assignment and discharge of Construction Design Management (CDM) obligations for all projects in the programme.
  5. Lead by example in applying the Fuse Rail Management System and promote continual business improvement for clients and employees.
  6. Control and verify the quality of work undertaken and confirm assets are compliant with standards.
  7. Ensure staff and subcontractors under your control possess the appropriate and valid competencies.
  8. Verify that vehicles, plant, tools, equipment, and materials are fit for use, properly used, stored, and disposed of.
  9. Accurately report all work completed/not completed and maintain necessary records.
  10. Operate within the limits and guidelines of the Delegated Authority Policy.
  11. Contribute to personal and team development.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, respecting confidentiality and GDPR.
  13. Prioritize health and safety for yourself and others, using equipment properly and reporting hazards.
  14. Require at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and industry.
  15. Possess an E&P bias (CRE/ETE preferred but not essential) and past CRE or CEM experience.
  16. Be highly motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and in a team.
  17. Have proven project management experience within a safety-critical environment.
  18. Demonstrate leadership skills, strategic vision, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships at all levels.
  19. Have good knowledge of health and safety management, standards, procedures, and railway operational standards.
  20. Be IT literate, possess excellent communication skills, and hold a full UK driving license and PTS competence.
  21. Membership of a professional body is desirable.
