e-Learning Design Assistant | Wimbledon, London | Full Time | £25,000-£30,000 per annum

They are seeking an experienced e-Learning Design Assistant to join their team in London.
The overall purpose of the role is to create interactive e-learning content from existing material produced by subject experts, for current and future professional qualifications as they are developed by the business. As the Moodle assistant, the role will ensure the learner experiences the highest quality of learning materials for engaging the learner throughout the course.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role requiring design creativity and technical expertise.
• Certification or relevant qualifications in Instructional Design and E-learning development.
• Knowledge and experience in Moodle LMS
• Creating interactive courses
• Create and manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions within the LMS
• Experience using h5p plugin
• Technical support and troubleshooting
• Experience with SCORM-compliant content (creating, uploading, and troubleshooting within Moodle LMS)
• High standard of oral and written communication
• Team player in a small team and able to work on own initiative
• High attention to detail – accuracy
• Problem-solving and patience - to explain the Moodle platform and processes to members/users
• Team-oriented - willingness to assist other staff where needed
• Self-organisation & time-management
• Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
What will your role look like?
Operational & Creative Duties:
• Support the development of first-class e-learning courses
• Create interactive e-learning content from existing material
• Use your ability to create engaging content which enhances the learning content and makes it engaging for learners
• Introduce other learning formats, interactive devices and techniques for assessment, such as multiple choice questions, etc
• Improve the learning products by ‘adding value’ to existing content
• Be able to report on learner performance and question performance within Moodle
Maintenance and Support:
• Routine maintenance of the e-learning packages created, dealing with any learner issues as appropriate
Project Management:
• To work on qualification projects as instructed, and produce work within the agreed milestones for that project
• Coordinate and manage the different elements of the project work in line with Moodle specialist and management instructions
