Job summary

NRL Group in Grangemouth is seeking an experienced E&I Technician to join our maintenance team. You will help ensure safe maintenance of all equipment, comply with HSE standards, and support predictive and preventative maintenance to improve reliability.

The role requires reading P&IDs and electrical drawings, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent, HNCs, CompEx 01-04, and experience on a COMAH site. You will perform fault diagnosis, carry out risk assessments, and maintain ATEX compliance across plant

Qualifications

SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including P&IDs, electrical schematics and instrument loop drawings.
HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
HNC in Measurement & Control Engineering (or equivalent).
CompEx 01–04 certification.
Experience working on a top-tier COMAH site.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe maintenance of all equipment, complying with HSE standards and Safety Charter.
Carry out fault finding and diagnose issues to identify cost-effective remediation.
Support predictive and preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and availability.
Conduct dynamic risk assessments before and during tasks.
Complete QA documentation in line with work packs and procedures.
Plan and schedule own preventative maintenance activities.
Carry out basic rigging and lifting activities as required.
Support and carry out mechanical tasks where needed.
