Job Description

Ensure at a construction level that all Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) inspections, as requested by the projects and performed by the contractors, are in accordance with the design and technical specifications of the contract.

Primary Functions
  • Interface: Ensure both on-site and off-site requirements meet project-specific standards and specifications, align contractors with the technical specifications, and enforce HSE requirements of the CAP 25 Projects.
  • Meetings: Attend project meetings as required.
  • Review: Continually review on-site construction activities of contractors to ensure alignment with technical specifications and external interfaces.
  • Review: Ensure compliance with the latest pre-commissioning procedures and drawings.
  • Changes: Report on-site design changes of the terminal to management via Discipline Engineer.
  • Day-to-day: Monitor and report construction activities, perform site inspections and tests, track progress, and resolve field quality inquiries through the Discipline Engineer.
  • Completion: Sign construction documentation within the Limits of Authority and verify as-built documentation as requested by Quality or Discipline Engineer.
Personal Responsibilities

The project team shall demonstrate leadership and serve as role models at the project site(s) regarding adherence to HSE management systems, project rules, regulations, and all applicable regulatory requirements. They shall also take reasonable care for the safety and health of personnel and others affected by their acts during project execution.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality control role.

Note 1: Experience in quality control within the Petrochemical Industry, including the use of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Completions Management Systems (CMS).

Note 2: Experience with Honeywell DCS, Wood GoTechnology (QEDI) CMS, and Emerson Process Instrumentation is advantageous.
