Job description

A great opportunity for an E-commerce Website Assistant to join our growing company and to be a part of our fantastic team.

We have a fun, friendly team and we are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is as ambitious about the future as we are.

You will be required to maintain and update the company e-commerce website listings. Your main responsibilities as a Website Assistant will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Adding new products onto the company website and other platforms, this involves gathering specification and technical information of the product and uploading all relevant information onto our system.
  2. Maintaining all existing products on company websites, including amending existing product information such as specification, pictures, and descriptions.
  3. Creating new website categories for product sales.
  4. Performing basic on-page search engine optimisation through standard practice.

Required Skills

  1. Excellent command of the English language, the ability to demonstrate copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  2. Have a good understanding of website Content Management Systems with a methodical approach to updating products online.
  3. Excellent organisational skills and timekeeping.
  4. A positive and enthusiastic drive towards work.
  5. Ability to communicate successfully and work effectively with other team members.

Desirable Skills

  1. Knowledge of various e-commerce platforms.
  2. Knowledge of SEO.
  3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  4. An interest in the automotive industry.
  5. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
