Job summary

GI Group Main Account is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join the E-Commerce packing team at the Pets at Home Distribution Centre in Stoke-on-Trent.

The role focuses on packing customer orders initially, with future training to operate LLOP picking. You will work on rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, and you will be trained to move into picking as required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment with performance targets.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow process.
• Willingness to be flexible: role will develop into picking/LLOP as required.

Responsibilities

• Pack e-commerce orders accurately to quality and presentation standards.
• Check items, quantities and order paperwork/labels before dispatch.
• Use handheld scanners and basic warehouse systems (where required).
• Rework/repack items to ensure they meet dispatch requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Follow all site health & safety processes at all times.
• Support other warehouse tasks as required.
