Job description
Company Description

We're ASOS. We blend our flair for fashion with our love of cutting‑edge technology, but more importantly we're interested in how we can bring the best out of you.

We exist to give people the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you're free to be your true self without judgment, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

Job Description

As a Strategy Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of fashion e‑commerce. We’re looking for someone with experience in e‑commerce, fashion, or retail, who understands the commercial drivers, customer behaviour, and operational challenges that make these sectors unique.

You’ll lead and deliver end‑to‑end strategic projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve ambitious objectives. This could include owning go‑to‑market strategies for new propositions, shaping pricing, promotion, and channel optimisation. You’ll develop advanced analytics frameworks using SQL, Power BI, and other BI tools to uncover trends and inform decision‑making, while creating dashboards to track acquisition, retention, and lifetime value in real time.

You’ll get to work on some of the most challenging and creative problems in the business, while supporting ASOS’ growth, driving continuous improvement across products, services, and operations.

Qualifications
About You

You’ll bring a strong track record in strategy, ideally gained in fast‑paced, complex environments, with a focus on e‑commerce, fashion, or retail. You combine analytical rigor with hands‑on operational experience, moving seamlessly from shaping big‑picture plans to driving detailed execution.

You thrive in ambiguity, excel at breaking down complex problems, and use data to create clarity and structure. Your ability to influence stakeholders and deliver actionable insights sets you apart.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Ability to deliver complex, cross‑functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong data skills, using insights to inform decisions and create compelling stories that drive action
  • Confidence with tools like Excel, SQL and PowerBI, and the ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills, tailoring messages to different audiences and driving decision‑making
  • A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to adapt and innovate in a fast‑paced environment

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office – a rhythm that speeds up decision‑making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.
